Mondowski releases his second EP for Relish called Surfin Hell. Including 2 originals and a remix/rework by Sébastien Chenut and Headman/Robi Insinna.
One year after his stunning debut on Relish with the aptly named Klub Psycho, French London-based DJ/producer Mondowski is back with a new ep: Surfin Hell. The eponymous track unrolls a mesmerizing technoid slo-mo psychedelia suffused with acid elements paralleling an out-of-space surf rock guitar riff which finally morphs into a Morriconesque western soundtrack clip. While Headman aka Insinna reworks the original track into a late nite club anthem, Sébastien Chenut, one half of Scratch Massive, takes us even further back in time with a brilliant dance-floor orient ed remix which tapes into a distinctly eighties New Wave melancholia. Mondowski’s second new track, Delok, turns out to be a totally different matter plunging deep into the uncompromising depths of leftfield club electronica. In short, full blast!
